Chiropractic adjustment

A chiropractic adjustment is a specific, safe correction that’s made to the spine. Dr Amanda uses her hands to exert a force on to specific vertebra at a precise angle, which usually results in an audible release (crack)

Chiropractic technique

Diversified technique is a robust hands on approach with its main objective to restore proper movement and alignment of the spine and joint dysfunction.

Depending on the results of the initial assessment and testing alternative methods maybe used which may include;

Thompson Drop

This is a technique which is low force. By using levers on the chiropractic bench the bench takes a lot of the force applied through the chiropractic thrust. Dr Amanda uses this technique is particularly in the 2-3rd trimester during pregnancy.

Activator method

This is a hand held spring loaded mechanical tool which provides a specific low force impulse to the applied joint.

Acupuncture (dry needling)

This is where a fine needle is inserted in to the skin targeting muscular nodules/spasms, this technique can be very effective with sports injuries or chronic fascial restrictions.

The experience

The best way to know is to try it out! A lot of members report instant release a feeling of more movement, freedom, lightness and sometimes their complaint entirely. Usually though these take time to have a build a longstanding effect. More chronic issues usually a little longer but usually after 4-5 sessions people start to feel significant change.
